Delivery

IMPORTANT

When you place your order please ensure your order contains the following details:

  • Correct and up to date delivery address
  • Active mobile number and/or land line number (Mobile preferred as you are more likely to be out if our carriers call during the day)
  • Opening times (commercial deliveries only where applicable). The above information is for delivery purposes only.

IMPORTANT:

If you feel you are not in during normal delivery times or hard to find then please advise us when you place order of:

Possible leave safe options, ie. behind gate, next door or in porch etc.

Any notes that will help delivery if you are difficult to find or access.

Please contact us when you place order if you require a call or text message approx one hour before delivery.

 

Item Dispatch Time

Your item will be delivered on or before the delivery date shown in your order confirmation and the item details.

This is an estimated time and can vary due to factors such as seasonal demand, weather and your location. If we have any problems delivering your order then we will contact you accordingly.

On cleared payment we aim to prepare your order as soon as possible, however this varies depending on the size of your item.

Please see the item details for the estimated delivery date and services available.

As a guide, smaller items will be prepared within 24 hours, larger items will be prepared within 3 days.

Then we will dispatch your item by the delivery methods shown below. See "types of delivery service".

IF YOU ORDER AT WEEKEND/PUBLIC HOLIDAYS YOUR ORDER WILL BE PROCESSED THE NEXT WORKING DAY.

A courtesy call or text is available on request subject to service and area

Please contact us when you place order if you require a call or text message to pre advise you that you delivery in due.

AT POINT OF DELIVERY

We aim to delivery on our first attempt to ensure you have your item within your estimated due date.

HAND DELIVERY

Our hand delivery drivers can unpack your item if requested, however they are not permitted to take your item into your house other that your immediate entrance area. We can also take away any unwanted packaging for your item if you require.

If you are not in when we deliver and if acceptable and reasonable to do so, we will leave your item safe. We will put a card through your letterbox and/or send an email to confirm item has been left safe.

If you are not in and we cannot leave safe then we will re deliver the next time we are in your area.    We cannot be held responsible for late delivery of your item if we have incorrect details, incomplete details (at time of order) or if you are not in and we cannot leave safe.

 

COURIER DELIVERY

Independent couriers will follow their own guidelines and standards at point of delivery.

If you are not in then the courier/postal company will follow their normal procedures which is usually a card through your door and item returned to depot for re delivery. In some cases the courier will leave with a neighbour and put a card through your letterbox.

We cannot be held responsible for late delivery of your item if we have incorrect details, incomplete details (at time of order) or if you are not in and we cannot leave safe.

Types of Delivery Service

TYPES OF DELIVERY SERVICE
We use the following methods of delivery depending on your item:

24 HOUR COURIER SERVICE

This service is available on smaller items only as shown in the item details.
We do not offer a courier service for large and fragile items due to possible damage.
Please see the item details for the estimated delivery date and services available.
If you live in Northern Ireland, Highlands, Islands, Scilly Isles, IOM, IOW then there is no extra charge for these areas. However we may need to change to a 48 hour service as 24 hour service is not always available.
We do not ship to the Channel Islands.

HAND DELIVERY SERVICE

This service takes 3/5 working days approx from when item is dispatched.
Large and Fragile items are hand delivered ONCE A WEEK to most Mainland UK post codes at the price shown in the listing.
However, we only deliver to the following post code areas Once every two weeks.
DD, FK, PA*, PH*, AB*, TR*, PL
These Scottish and Cornish post codes may take slightly longer than your order due date.
If you live in Northern Ireland, Highlands, Islands, Scilly Isles, IOM, IOW and want to purchase one of our large and fragile items then please contact us for a delivery price. We should be able to deliver to you.
Please note: We do not ship to the Channel Islands.

Hand delivery for large and fragile mirrors

Large and fragile mirrors are hand delivered by our team of drivers to ALL Mainland UK post codes.

This service is done once a week, however some areas are only covered once every two weeks.

This HIGH QUALITY SERVICE is used to avoid damages and allows you to inspect item on arrival.

 

We DO NOT hand deliver this item to the following areas:

Northern Island, Scottish Highlands, Scilly Isles, Scottish Islands,

Isle of Man, Channel Islands or Isle of Wight
